The alternative art group Praffdata organised an exceptional St.John's night for its 11th birthday. The small valley on cypel Czerniakowski, all surrounded by bushes held over two thousand visitors. Well known bands performed under a tent with psychedelic decorations. (...) Delighted children were running about on the wet lawn... - This here is a truly Woodstock atmosphere ! - commented an excited teenager in "flower power" outfit. (...) All artists performed for free. Low price beer, public toilets and waste containers were provided by several sponsors.

The public came from all over Poland. There was music played under a tent and the youth had fun around a bonfire. There was even a fireworks show. And after midnight, "Praffdata" band played a fantastic concert. There was plenty of beer and a vegetarian rice dish. (...) Everyone had fun and the atmosphere was fantastic.

11th anniversary of Stowarzyszenie Twórców Kultury "Praffdata" was a great excuse for setting up a multimedia village that day, or rather night, A tent covered stage was erected on the Warsaw Cypel Czerniakowski. Outside, the public could see shows by avant-garde painters and performers. There were fireworks, a laser installation, para-theatrical performances. (...) That's how London pubs must have looked in 1977. And not only because of canvas roofs. (...)

I'm entering an open space where, under a circus tent, a forgotten celebration is taking place. It's St.John's night. (...) The tent fills with dancing people. Reggae music sets the rhythm and speaks to the heart. It's only music, dance and laughter. (...) There's at least two thousand of us here. No violence, everyone happy. Rhythmical beat of snare drums announces the main attraction of the night. The host of the event - "Praffdata" group enter the stage.
